A movie not for everybody, but for me. I like the story, of course l wish it had a different ending. And l like Sam Elliot.

I love this movie. I have watched it at least 4 times.

I have enjoyed watching this movie a couple of times. The ending was ridiculous; She should have told the nurse to go shove it, and gone in to seem him anyway. That is a major reason many people are reluctant to go the hospital, you…

A great story featuring a demographic not seen often enough in honest, humorous and dynamic modern roles like this.

It's like watching paint dry. Slow all the way. You meet the dif. characters who are dissatisfied with their life, lonely and just waiting for their last breath on earth. I've never been a fan of Blythe Danner bcs she seems like a blah…

I picked this one up AFTER watching Sam Elliott in THE HERO. Funny thing is, I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS isn't actually a Sam Elliott movie. He appears in and you are going to love his character if you dig Sam Ellliott and if you don't…

I liked this movie for the most part but I made the mistake of watching it shortly after my husband passed away and the fact that it deals with a loss hit me hard.. It's a well made movie but I wish it could have gone in a different…

With a younger man giving her cause to reflect on her past and an older one giving her hope for the future, one seventy-ish widow's comfortable rut is about to get shaken. But, as they say, life sometimes happens… Life doesn’t exactly…

Disappointed in this. Thought this was about new beginnings not about how life can still suck at any age. It was like eating a half a cupcake and finding a big ugly worm in the middle. Delicious cast though, Sam Elliot is still yummy.

Blythe Danner is wonderfully cast, though the script is a bit too predictable. And (a common complaint) there's not enough Sam Elliott.

Picked this one up on a whim -Captivating performance by Blythe Danner as the widow coming to terms with love and loss and featuring as a love interest, Sam Elliot playing Sam Elliot with a cigar. A sweet movie for grownups which is…

I don't think this is a depressing movie. On the contrary, it's about loving and enjoying people and pets while you have them. You don't replace them when they die, but you do continue to have new and meaningful relationships. The…

liked this movie. Not sure why so many people didn't. The simplicity of the narrative was what I particularly liked.

Sweet movie about relationships. It centres around a long-time widow and her friendship with her pool man, her lady friends, who all live in a senior's retirement facility, and the new man she briefly dates.

A widow likes old dogs. One at the beginning that dies, a new old one at the end and a human one, (a sea-dog) in the middle. I guess the rat is a metaphor for the unwelcome reality of death but I can't believe you could catch one with a…

This should be categorized in the "Debbie Downer" genre. The dog was depressing enough, never mind Sam Elliott...

Far too realistic! Not something I needed to see on the heels of my father's passing. Movie message: You will die, probably alone. Your pets will die. Your beloved ones will die. WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! One of the most depressing…

Carol, played by Blythe Danner, is a retired lady who meets Bill, played by Sam Elliot, a handsome retired gentleman. This is a simple story, but what makes it very, very good is that watching it is like getting to know new friends for 90…

I am putting this in the "not bad" category only because the acting was good-has some great stars in it. Other than that, not much good can be said. Very poor story - by the end of the movie all I could think of to day was "so what?" …

Was looking forward to this movie as it took so long to get in long line of requests. Disappointed big time! The plot was slow and missed the point about aging. Would not recommend.

A lovely, bitter-sweet light comedy, but a bit sad. It is a bit too slow at times, but keep in mind it is not an action movie. I can't understand why they got someone with a horrible voice (Martin Starr) singing!!! Most definitely not a…

Not too much to offer for the under 50 age-group.... but , I found this movie to be quite enjoyable to watch. Not much of a plot... but, an interesting look into relationships and aging. I'll give it a 3 out of 5. Nice to see some of the…
