Loved this book - Great lives Harry and Emma Clifton and indeed the whole family!

This series unraveled over the last three books as the author told of one vengeance plot after another, taking on the characteristics of a soap opera. Most of the events merely acted to prolong the saga , which should have been shortened…

I immensely enjoyed the first six in this series, but found this final one to be hurried. There was too much covered too quickly when compared to the earlier books. I think I would have enjoyed it more if this one was broken down into two…

I really find the characters in these chronicles formulaic and unpleasant. I would never invite them to my dinner parties.

How Jeffrey Archer can hold a reader for 7 books is beyond me! In future, I wish he could spew books at a faster pace.

This is the seventh and final volume of the Clifton Chronicles. A tear-jerking ending to a really good series. Not quite the Forsyte Saga but kudos to Archer for the chutzpah to write a series covering a century.

Great wrap up to a wonderful series. I just finished the last of the Clifton Chronicles. Seven books in the series and each one a very fast moving detailed read - until book 7 where Jeffrey Archer seemed to feel the need to make it…

The final book of a seven book chronicle.....excellent. Archer did a beautiful job of following a family to the end. Very good book.

The last chapter for this very interesting series. Enjoyed getting to know all the main characters in these books. Liked how it ended the story lines even though there was no explanation on how the villainous got what was coming to her. …

A great series, very entertaining, however the ending depicts Harry killing Emma in her last hours. To me this was a purely gratuitous sop to the "death with dignity" crowd, totally unnecessary to the completion of the story.

This book showed that sometimes there can be one too many books in a series. I waited for each book in the Clifton Chronicles to arrive on the shelves. This one was a disappointment. I might go so far as to say that it was a relief that…

Archer is a natural story teller and has as usual a good plot. Like the way the whole series is divided up into "chapters" on different characters. Enjoyed the section on Bellmarsh where his personal experiences came through. I…

Sorry to see the Clifton Chronicles end, I wish Jeffery Archer would have chosen to end with a post script of a particular character getting her just rewards for being such an odious personality. I enjoyed the book(s) I guess it had to…

Nice way to end the Clifton Chronicles. A few things hanging but all in all Jeffrey Archer delivered a great read in this series.

I am a longtime Jeffrey Archer fan and was hooked on this series. What a shame we have reached the end of "The Clifton Chronicles". An excellent series, best read in sequence.

Am I addicted to Jeffrey Archeritis? Maybe I'm in denial, but the evidence is clear. Having read every JA, including the short stories with unexpected ironic O. Henry endings, the prison books, and the itchiness awaiting releases of his…

This is the last of seven books in the Clifton Chronicles. Read them in sequence. They are all outstanding.
