Not worth the time I wasted in watching it. Typical Andrew Lloyd Webber trash.

You may not cry for Argentina, but you will cry for the hours you're never getting back. Everything about this 1996 adaptation of the famous Andrew Lloyd Webber (hereafter known as ALW) and Tim "White" Rice is big and loud. It's like they…

One needs to remember that this is a British music-hall play (then Broadway)...and the film is based on that play and the imagination and opinion of the playwright! It somewhat portraits the life of Eva Duarte very quickly and it is…

I happen to like Madonna's singing. Other than that, I found this movie very tedious and boring (all singing throughout, no talking). I thought Antonio Banderas' role as Che Guevara was ridiculous....he should stick to acting and forget…

VERY GOOD 1996 film opera style (almost all singing) version of Evita - Madonna is excellent, as is all the rest of the film production.

I loved it on Blue Ray. I never thought I'd enjoy seeing it for a second time. I'd watch it again.

The music is good. How unique that almost everything is sung. The plot gets fairly boring in the second half. But overall, it's a good work of art.
