After reading A woman of substance, I picked up a copy of Emma's Secret, which led to the raring of Unexpected Blessings. Although not a great piece of literature written by Dickens, Taylor-Bradford has a way of endearing you to her characters, in this case, the great grand-children of heroine Emma Harte. This book reads quickly and keeps one's interest. If you enjoy romance novels, read this one.
