Stephanie Plum, the brassy babe in the powder-blue Buick, has been given the unpopular task of finding Mo Bedemier, Trenton's most beloved citizen, arrested for carrying concealed and a no-show for his court appearance. She's got big, blonde, black Lula, a former hooker turned file clerk -- now a wannabe bounty hunter -- at her side, sticking like glue. And Lula's itching to get the chance to lock up a crook in the trunk of her car.Joe Morelli, the New Jersey vice cop with the slow-burning smile that undermines a girl's strongest resolve, is suddenly being polite. What gives? Might he be manipulating Steph, using her in his investigation, counting on her curiosity and competitive Jersey attitude?Once again, the whole crew is in action, including Ranger and Grandma Mazur, searching for Mo, tripping down a trail of dead drug dealers, leading Stephanie to suspect Mo has traded his ice-cream scoop for a vigilante gun.Cursed with a disastrous new hair color and an increasing sense that it's time to get a new job, Stephanie tumbles through Three to Get Deadly with all the high-speed hijinks her fans have come to love.

Silly hijinks in the search for missing uncle Mo. Fun read but I didn't care for the ending.

third book in the series. I laughed a couple of times. And, I did NOT figure out the plot twist, even at the end!

Very entertaining. Number 3 in the series, and number 3 for me. I still intend to read the entire series.

Another great Stephanie Plum mystery! Janet Evanovich never disappoints!

Another good book. Still funny. The series is starting to feel a little repetitive, though. Like you're reading the same book over and over with a different bad guy each time. I can't say I mind too much, though. I've already ordered the 4th.

After being an avid listener to the Stephanie Plum novels on tape, I thought I would try reading one for a change. The other deciding factor was that Lorelei King was not the voice on this title on the tape, and I love her rendition of all the characters! Everyone''s favorite uncle Mo, the candy store proprietor, has gone FTA and Stephanie has to bring him in. This should be easy, but Mo has done a real good job of making like a lemon drop and disappeared completely. And when the burg hears through the grapevine that Stephanie is out to pick him up for missing his court date on a minor charge, everyone is out to get Stephanie. This results in a very large list of suspects and a few too many bodies found in Mo''s cellar. Meanwhile, Joe Morelli starts getting a little too close to Stephanie in a way she doesn''t understand ? it looks like he just wants to be friends! Everything seems to throw Stephanie off kilter including her early morning runs with Ranger and Lula. How Stephanie exposes this network of crime and sets her new vehicle on fire is something that I?m not going to reveal. So kick back and enjoy the antics of the most madcap bounty hunter you will ever find!
