A good legal mystery with lots of local color and humor. The author has a distinct voice, likes to juxtapose grandiose writing with low comedy. The puns alone are worth the price of admission. However, it does seem a bit frantic and overly piled high with plot devices. I’d put it on the you-could-do-a-lot-worse shelf.
