A slow start to the book but as the pages turned it became increasingly harder to put down, a great historical story mixed with a genealogical mystery.

this was great - entertaing and historical without being tedius. i thought i had the plot all figured out but i was way off base and pleasantly surprised with how things worked themselves out. a very satisfying read with elements of a murder mystery mixed with plain human interest.
