Oh my. I tried, I really did. I am a great fan of Poe and wanted to enjoy this novel. The writer obviously researched his topic, the life and death of Poe relentlessly, but the transition of that research into a work of fiction just didn't work. There was essentially no plot, just the inner workings of the main character's mind as he tracked down the details of Poe's death. I made to disc 3 of 12. If you make it all the way through and find that I just gave up to soon please email me.
