Ketcham's Complete Dennis the Menace publishes every single panel strip in handsome and thick hardcover volumes resembling a Big Little Book on steroids. The reason for Dennis' success is easy to figure out: It was one of the most brilliantly observed and empathetic comic strips about childhood ever drawn. Ketcham captured the mischievousness, rambunctiousness, and anarchy of a kid's world better than any other cartoonist.

Long before there was Calvin & Hobbes - There was, of course, Dennis the Menace, who (next to Charlie Brown) was the most popular "cartoon" kid in the world of the newspaper comic-strip.

Created by cartoonist, Hank Ketcham - Dennis the Menace (the blond, freckle-faced, rugrat of 5 who lived on Pine Street) made his official debut into the newspaper's comic section in 1951.

Appearing as a single-panel strip - Dennis the Menace became so popular that he eventually appeared in more than 16 newspapers all across the American nation, and beyond.

This hefty volume contains over 1000 Dennis the Menace cartoons from the years of 1951 & 1952.

*Note* - Born in 1920 - Cartoonist, Hank Ketcham continued to draw the Dennis the Menace comic-strip right up until 1994..... In 2001 - Ketcham (81 at the time) died from heart failure.... (*watch video-clip*)
