I find Taylor Simon very different from other 18 year old girl’s maybe cause of her Asperger's Syndrome. When i started "Wild Orchid" i viewed Taylor as an intelligent woman because she thinks of different perspectives of everything and she mainly reads anything to that smoothes her.
i loved how the author lets Taylor Simon come alive, meaning by her narrating. She writes anything that is on her mind. That's why I enjoy the book because Bervery Brenna explains Taylor so well; you’re basically reading her diary.
One of the things I didn’t like about Taylor was how she approached things such as, “Do you want to be my boyfriend?” and “I think people that smoke are bad”. But that’s what makes Taylor Simon unique.
Another pro that happen in the book is when Taylor reached out to Paul, the guy from the nature centre.
I would rate this book out of five a three and a half.
Reading the book wasn’t boring nor was it exciting. I have to admit, I was kind of shock when she was at Kody’s house and she was waiting for that moment for her whole life, to be with a boy, to have a boyfriend and she blew it in a sense of leaving.
Wild Orchid places you in Taylor’s life perfectly; it makes you think how people don’t really understand Taylor and how Taylor doesn’t understand them either.
However, I personally think that authors theses days should consider doing this more often, having the main character someone out of the ordinary and uncommon.

The author takes you fully into the perspective of Taylor and how she experiences the world. Sweet story and had me laughing too.
