What was supposed to be an evening of celebration with friends, fun, and games becomes a night of danger, drama, and obsessive love. Because when Jenny, her boyfriend, Tom, and their friends begin to play the Game, it comes to life. Suddenly they are in a dark world where Julian, the gorgeous guy who sold Jenny the Game, rules as Prince of the Shadows. Omg I loved The Hunter and I started The Chase and its really good. I felt like The Hunter was a lot like the movie Jumanji, but I loved that movie so that was good. I didn't really feel like Jenny and Tom had a good relationship but maybe it gets better. I'm open minded. I LOVE Julian! But I tend to like L. J. Smith's bad characters (Damon, Vampire Diaries) and he was a favourite of mine. I also like Zach, but I get the feeling he likes Jenny or something. Anyway, I really like this book so far.

I really didn't like Julian at first, but he redeemed himself when he saved Jenny and her friends. I read this book because a friend recommended it. It's pretty good.

When I first started reading this book, I had no idea what to expect when I read something on a website about it "[...] contest for a human soul." at first I thought, "Ummm, what?" but when I actually started reading it, I could visualize it every second, as if I were in the house, shadow world, and real world with them. But I can say that when *SPOILER* Julian dies, I was heart broken, somewhere around the end of The Kill, I was hoping that she would side with Julian, but I guess I was wrong.

an okay book. not the best from L.J. Smith. still, the storyline was suspenseful and the characters, as always, were great.

Brian's jaw dropped when he saw her. SO, unfortunately, did Mr. Thorton's.
