A little cub lives all alone in the forest. He does not like being alone. An old bear lives all alone in the forest, too. He doesn't like being alone, either.

As they go through their days, both the little cub and the old bear feel that something is missing. But what could it be? When the stumble upon one another, something magical happens; they realize exactly what they've been longing for-someone to be with.

This story is tender and heartwarming - perfect for parents and children who complete one another's lives and make each other feel whole

Sweet book well written about a cub and an old bear who feel the same way about their lives feeling lonely and empty. One day old bear finds the cub sleeping in a log. He takes him home and they find happiness in having each other for company and joy from learning from each other. This would be a great book for children to understand adoption.

I feel this book is quite long to read a one year old. My daughter didn't have much interest in the story.
