This is one of the worst book to movie adaptions I have ever watched. The first movie was a train wreck but this one was even more so. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters had plot holes, unnecessary scenes, a impossibly fast pace, bad CGI effects, a terrible script, and no homage to the book it was based on. Just go read the books, they're actually worth your time.

I was extremely disappointed in the first movie. In my mind, the second worked hard to make up for some of that. Plot details and motivations that were absent have been reinserted. I agree that maybe there was a little bit too much going on... but they did have a lot to make up for.

This book is terrible to me, and here's why I think that:
Well, first of all, every moment feels like its so rushes when its supposed to be on for a long time, and second of all, some of it is totally innacurate! If you would ask me on a scale of one to ten of how I would rate this book, I would rate it a 1. I mean if there was no book for it, it would've been a hit but with the book its horrible. It has made me extremely dissapointed. If you have never seen the movie neither read the books, I recommend you to read the books ONLY. I repeat to read the books O-N-L-Y.

Percy Jackson the Sea of Monsters movie:
I honestly hated this movie. The book was amazing. If you are planning on reading the books, even as a small possibility, please read it first; the book will be more enjoyable if you didn't watch it. But if you aren't planning on reading it, still don't watch the movie! It was terrible!! And here's why I think that: Well first of all, the Sea of Monsters is the second movie in the Percy Jackson movie series, and is based on the books by Rick Riordan. It's about a demigod named Percy Jackson who lives in a world where Greek mythology is real the writers did not incorporate all the best scenes from the second book in the movie; they only took bits from the second book. On top of that, they tried to incorporate bits and pieces from the third, fourth, and fifth books. So all the big changes and battles that lasted a couple books to ease in to were equivalent to a mere five minutes each in the movie. It was all rather rushed, and created lots of spoilers for books 3, 4, and 5. To emphasize the 'rushed' aspect, I will let you know that the five books that make up Percy Jackson and the Olympians all lead up to and ease in to a final battle all throughout the fifth book. But in the Sea of Monsters movie, this epic final battle was a minute long and seemed pretty sad and easy to win compared to the long, extensive battle in the books. The script was also extremely cheesy. After every battle, the lines the characters had sounded like they were quotes you'd find in someone's Instagram bio, not lines someone would naturally say in real life. The romance was pretty rushed and quick, so it wasn't as heartfelt and didn't attach the viewers to the story. Overall, it was a pretty bad movie. Not even that it didn't portray the book properly, it just wasn't as enjoyable as it could've been. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this. Maybe a younger child about 9 years old or younger might enjoy it, but I don't think anyone else would in my opinion.

I am kinda disappointed since they changed a lot of things in both movies... Really so.. if you read the books this might ruin it for you if you were hoping to see some actual action. Same with the first one. Its pretty bad, but I like the actor for Percy.
( He is SOOO cute )

Percy Jackson the Sea of Monsters is a great movie with lots of action, adventure and comedy. The movie is the sequel to Percy Jackson the Lighting Thief. The movie starts off when Percy Jackson the son of the God of the sea Poseidon is at Camp Half-Blood and is attacked by a monster from the underworld. The campers discover that Thai’s tree has been poisoned by someone. The tree protects the camp from monsters. Percy wants to go on the quest for the cure but is not picked. But he and two other campers go on the quest without telling anyone. They travel to Florida by a magic taxi. Once there they start to travel into the Bermuda Triangle by a raft. But Grover, one of Percy’s friends loses a magic bag of wind. Then they meet up with the girl that was chosen for the quest. They travel to the base where they are keeping the medicine. But there they discover that Luke an old camper has been trying to make the evil Titian Kronos. The group of heroes save the day by destroying the machine Luke was trying to summon Kronos. Watch Percy Jackson the Sea of Monsters to find out what happens. The movie is very funny with some memorable moments. Also, there is lots of action senses in the movie which keeps the movie exciting. In addition, the movie is easy to follow and understand. In conclusion, Percy Jackson the Sea of Monsters is a great movie with no cons. The movie has adventure, action, comedy and is easy to follow. Therefore the movie is a must watch.

Summary: In this series, saga installment of Greek God parody, the drama between the parental deities and adolescent demi-deities, now drags, dregs, and draws-out, over a vast oceanic, sea's surface of waves and caustic current. And ticking-time is of critical, crucial, and chronicling factor as Lord of Choas, Kronos, himself, lies at the end of this twisted race for the Golden Fleece... and he, Kronos, to be born anew as malignant benefactor would be for world's sake, a most and worst malefactor. And so now that Fate has been spun... the end quickly comes, but in the end, does anyone really know who has won?! -X; Who
