Weird! Weird storyline, weird characters and weird style of writing.
I did give it 1 1/2 stars because it was "unique", but I had a very difficult time staying interested.

SOO much drama and suspense!! The title really blends to the story-- i got angry at the main character, Micah, for lying so much!!

"Micah is an admitted compulsive liar -- and a suspect in the case of her boyfriend Zach's murder. Now she says she wants to come clean and tell the whole, true story of her family, her special talents, and what happened to Zach. But when someone lies all the time, about everything, it can take a while to get to the real story... and you may not recognise it when you hear it. Fans of thrillers and psychological horror novels will be riveted by the dark and winding path that this tale takes. Think you can tell truth from lies? Try your luck with Liar." I felt like the author kept writing stuff she didn't like, but was too lazy to go back and get rid of those paragraphs, so she made it into a lie. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!! And I usually love books about werewolves. The synopsis said this book is a thriller, but had absolutely no action in it. So if you enjoy action, this book is DEFIANTLY not for you.

I'm not much into suspense, but I really enjoyed this. Lots of twists and turns, a lot of back-tracking, happens in this book. Not for everyone.

Still trying to decide if the secret ruins the book or not. But the writing itself is fantastic!
The book is so good in the first half. The second half transforms your thought so much, I can understand why some people hate it. As a science fiction reader, I don't mind the change; there are so many possibilities. A challenging read!

i loved this book! i kept thinking about it and just couldn't put it down. it really does keep you guessing, wondering what Micah's lying about and what she isn't. very intriguing.

Reading the plot, knowing Micah is a liar, and that her boyfriend is dead all through out the book your wondering if she's telling the truth. Has she fooled you into one of her lies? Did she kill her boyfriend? All through the book you're literally on the edge of your seat trying to find out what she is really trying to tell you. I liked that aspect of the book. BUT. In the second part she tells you her "secret". I was just kinda like "Oh, god no." the secret just... ruined the whole book!

Fun book about a girl who lies constantly. Her little lies, sprinkled throughout the first half of the book, lead up to the big lie that covers up the family illness. The second half of the book deals with the family illness and her response to it. Lots of plot twists and turns kept me turning the pages, and the characters were just great.

Some mature themes, scenes and language, but I'm going to booktalk it to middle schoolers anyway.

I'm thinking about how much stronger I am than Brandon. I doubt he realizes that. Boys never do. He should be scared of me. Because I _really_ don't like him and I'll hurt him if I have to.

Our apartment 's so small that we always pretend we can't hear the things we're not supposed to. It's a good rule.

Is it any surprise that I turned out the way I did, with so many family lies? I'm at least a third-generation liar. Though I bet it goes back earlier.

I tried not to laugh. He'd never said stuff like that before: "Young man," "Wipe that smile off." It was like he was quoting from a ye olden days handbook of angry parenting.

I am often in trouble. Mostly for things I have not done. I can't expect to be believed. I am the girl who cried wolf.

Sexual Content: Nothing extremely graphic, but there is sexual content. At one point, the main character imagines making out with a guy and a girl at the same time.
