This book describes the interaction between oil /fracking/gas companies and the public. People living near these sites are affected and also the environment is affected. I think everyone should read this book and think not only of the immediate profit, but also of the future effect on everything. MSG

Great, balanced look at natural gas development & family dynamics in Alberta, circa 1960 and today. Lots of wonderfully drawn characters & a strong setting.

A really good book that all Albertans should read. We need to know these things.

Bleakly sobering; wholly absorbing. Fate is the hunter.
