A hilarious new chapter book series from the bestselling author/illustrator of I'm the Biggest Thing in the Ocean .

Blizz Richards is a great guy, a caring boss, and a loyal friend. Oh, yeah . . . he's also a yeti! He's made it his life's mission to study cryptids like him, hidden animals who have taken a powerful oath to never be seen by the outside world.

So when a photo of Cousin Brian becomes a media sensation, Brian can't handle the guilt and disappears. But it's time for the annual Bigfoot family reunion, and it won't be the same without him. Luckily, Blizz and his devoted team are on the case. Can they find their furry friend before their secret gets out for good?

In Kevin Sherry's hilarious new illustrated series, you'll meet a wide array of weird and wacky cryptids, from goblins and Goatman to skunk apes and Sasquatch - animals that you don't believe exist. And it's up to Blizz to keep it that way!

* As both a teacher and a parent, I have read a lot of children's books. This is one of my all-time favorites.

* Yetis are awesome. Especially friendly yetis who like playing with their friends on trampolines, fireman poles, and tire swings.

* The illustrations in this book are full of funny details.

* The unique format (chapter book meets comic book) makes it a superfast and superfun read for all ages.

* I have checked this book out many times. My family and I keep coming back to it.

A fun, lighthearted, easy-going introduction to the life of Blizz Richards, a cryptid of the yeti variety, his home, friends, family, and worries--particularly their need to avoid fame-seeking cryptozoologist George Vanquist, who wants to prove the existence of hidden animals like Blizz and thus end their status as cryptids. So fully illustrated I consider this a graphic novel, despite the lack of consistent panels.

The Bigfeet are having a family reunion in British Columbia and you're invited! Well, not really. Actually it's pretty much top secret, but you can read about it. If you like goofy humour like Squish, Timmy Failure or Captain Underpants, you'll like this. And it looks like it's the first in a series!
