Strong conclusion to the trilogy, even if the climax is a bit convoluted

Really funny, makes you laugh the whole time! Po's duck dad really makes me smile the most in this movie!

I loved Kung Fu Panda. It's a classic. I liked Kung Fu Panda 2 almost as much, which is good going considering how terrible most sequels are. I liked Kung Fu Panda 3 less.
I liked it. It was good. Better than most animated kids movies. Fun. Flows well. But. Just. Not. Great.
If you're looking for a fun and gentle movie to pass the time - and you've seen the first two - sure, grab this one.
But I still wish they'd stopped after the first movie.

I haven't really enjoyed KUNG FU PANDA since the original. This most recent sequel is just like the second film, in that it is an okay time-waster and not much more. It suffers from a common sequel issue, which is simply introducing an increasing number of characters until the largely aimless story feels artificially bloated. The only thing particularly interesting about this installment is that it addresses the reunion of Po with his biological family. This thread of the story that was left dangling from the second film opens up a discussion about adoption with young children, which I can safely assume is the target demographic for this film. That being said, the film does a rather weak job of addressing the subject in a meaningful way. Still, KUNG FU PANDA 3 is a pretty film with beautiful art and animation. If you nullify your hunger for more logic and plot and just let your senses absorb all that visual information, the movie's all right. But only all right.
