DVD titled “Me Before You” gives the viewer a comedic portrayal of the trials involved in caring for a quadriplegic. Actress Emilia Clarke (who made her debut into television and movies in 2009) gives an amazing and hilarious performance as Lou, an inexperienced individual who takes on the challenges of serving as a hired caregiver to Will (played Sam Claflin), a former Banker left paralyzed after a collision with a motorcycle. Will has always been well grounded and Lou is quirky with no sense of direction for her future. You must watch to see how this unlikely union comes together.

The Ultimate Reviewer must be the Church Lady from SNL. Who gives away the ending in a review Duah!!! I admit the first time I watched this movie I wasn't too happy. However, there's something about it that keeps me watching it over and over again. I love this movie!

What a depressing movie. The ending couldn't have been worst. Contains strong sexual content and profanity. Not at all recommended.

The ending is a tear-jerker seriously!

A really well-done movie, though I'm cagey about how well it portrays modern British society. As someone with a serious medical issue, I sympathize with the male lead, and I do not think the critics were entirely fair to the book or its movie adaptation, though I do understand why they made the comments they did. Life is always worth living, if you put the effort in to make it so.

I actually saw this film when it was released in theaters last year; and although it's a super condensed version of the acutal novel, it's still a decent film nonetheless.

OK rom-com. Includes several notable actors from Game of Thrones and Doctor Who.

The movie depicted a contentious topic in the most beautiful, and yet thought provoking manner. It was time well spent. Why didn't it win the movie? I LOVED it!

If you're not the one percent and of physical perfection then you might as well commit suicide dr. Kevorkian wins that's what the movie says commit suicide commit suicide if you're not the one percent of health wealth didn't 99% of the world might as well commit suicide according to the philosophy of this movie because most of the world's not the 1%if you don't get to marry the trophy blonde is high maintenance if you wind up with a brunette who's not quite a trophy wife commit suicide it's a stupid response it's the European response Europe is committing suicide right now I hope America does not follow the European philosophy.
The movie offers no hope no hope in this life and no hope in God in the next life therefore you might as well end this life is you can't live on the peak it's a sad commentary unfortunately this suicidal genocidal philosophy is being sold too many people as viable plan I personally disagree it's sad the wasteful a terrible unhappy ending and the sad part is the woman who was the hero in of the movie was willing to live with him to bear his children and his mother wanted him to go on but his father said whatever he wanted he was such a selfish spoiled Punk brat and that's what he was spoiled Punk brat he couldn't have it exactly his way exactly exactly his way he was going to take his toys his marbles and go home and that's what he did he went to Switzerland and committed suicide what a waste give the movie through 6 - 1/2 f - 6.

The film somewhat glossed over Will's complicated drug regimen, from the book part 1 of 2:
‘It’s not hard. He mostly knows what he needs. But he might need a little help getting them down. We tend to use this beaker here. Or you can crush them with this pestle and mortar and put them in a drink.’ I picked up one of the labels. I wasn’t sure I had ever seen so many drugs outside a pharmacy. ‘Okay. So he has two meds for blood pressure, this to lower it at bedtime, this one to raise it when he gets out of bed. These he needs fairly often to control his muscular spasms – you will need to give him one mid-morning, and again at mid-afternoon.

The film glossed over Will's complicated drug regimen, from the book part 2 of 2:
He doesn’t find those too hard to swallow, because they’re the little coated ones. These are for bladder spasms, and these here are for acid reflux. He sometimes needs these after eating if he gets uncomfortable. This is his antihistamine for the morning, and these are his nasal sprays, but I mostly do those last thing before I leave, so you shouldn’t have to worry. He can have paracetamol if he’s in pain, and he does have the odd sleeping pill, but these tend to make him more irritable in the daytime, so we try to restrict them. ‘These –’ he held up another bottle ‘– are the antibiotics he has every two weeks for his catheter change. I do those unless I’m away, in which case I’ll leave clear instructions. They’re pretty strong. There are the boxes of rubber gloves, if you need to clean him up at all. There’s also cream there if he gets sore, but he’s been pretty good since we got the air mattress.’

Tons of quotes in IMDb already like this gem:

Every time I speak, he looks at me like I'm stupid.
-To be fair, you are pretty stupid.
Yeah, but he doesn't know that yet.
