A rogue group of ex Seals kills several corrupt politicians in Washington and demand police reforms or more will be killed and the FBI and CIA get involved. Their goals are pure - rid Washington of corruption - bit their method is of revolution. A hard to put down story, the assassinations are a complex act that enthrals and leaves law enforcement baffled.
too long to tell a standard ho-hum story.
Not part of the Rapp series
Flynn is solid. He keeps things lean and moving and doesn't get caught up in too much extra. the plot moves pretty quickly. Although this one may not be my favorite of his, Flynn is fun to read. Dr. Kennedy is one of favorite characters - a serious and smart female whose roles in these books just gets better.
Wow! I had to check a couple times as to when this book was written- it could almost be pulled right out of the headlines. Good thriller and insight into politics.
This is another great Vince Flynn book. OK, all of his books have a common theme (terrorist plots; CIA/FBI/Special forces save the day), but darn it, you can't put it down. This guy is a really skilled writer and every book is a page turner. It's not Pulizer prize material, but it is a lot of entertainment.
