While most of Barbara Eskine's novels are a guaranteed good read for me, this one really stunk. It seems that if you write something creepy in an exotic setting and include a diary that everyone else wants to get their hands on then add in some real odd characters to converse with, you would think that would make for a great read. But then you start repeating the plot over and over and over with nothing moving forward and everything just becoming more clouded with blah. And there you have it! The worst book I have read in a long time, and by one of my favs!
one of my all time favourite forays into para normal activity
