an informative and entertaining look at people, history and prejudice in Canada

EvaIFischer Jan 28, 2014

Inspired (or not) by the song Run and Tell That - from Hairspray - Black Berry, Sweet juice is a wonderful look on diverse topics related to the lives of black people (1st generation or more) in Canada.
It's short, sweet and humourous when it needs to be, this nonfiction book is quite enjoyable to read during Black History Month... or any other month.
