Preston and Child at the top of their game, one of the best of the Pendergast series.

One of my favorites in the series and just a favorite period. It is suspenseful and creepy. A very good summer read.

It was okay but I didn't think it was one of Preston and Child's best

Simply awful... the characters are cliched and cartoonish (though saying that insults cartoons). The plot is okay, but the poor writing overwhelms the story.

One of my favorites in this series, this book is typical of Preston & Child: you'll be wondering right until the end if the terror is human or paranormal.

If you enjoyed Relic, you'll probably enjoy this one too.

These guys have a great formula and I enjoy their writings. The story is just this side of believable.

Super fun read with lots of great history. One of those books that I wish I could read again for the first time.
