This is a review of the book (although the Morse TV shows were fine entertainment.)

An enjoyable story that is similar to Josephine Tey's "The Daughter In Time" in that it involves a policeman confined to a hospital bed who becomes interested in looking into a very cold case (this one around 100 years old, while Tey's is a little colder.)
