I've had this novel for quite some time and hadn't read it yet, so did over the holiday. Wow, was it good! I've read Roberts many times before but I think most were romance, so this was a nice change. Sorry SJPC didn't care for it. But I had a hard time putting it down. And, I was up till after 7 this morning reading it. Definitely a 5 star. I'd give more if I could! And booklady, I'm hoping there's a 2nd to this.

I usually enjoy Nora Roberts but not this book. It is too weird, violent, dark and creepy. Who wants to read about men raping and murdering young girls while performing satanic rites. Or about a young boy fantasizing about murdering his parents. Not an enjoyable book at all.
