“It was then that I understood that my body is only a reflection of my internal state. If my inner self were aware of its greatness and connection with All-that-is, my body would soon reflect that and heal rapidly.” Anita Moorjani tells a wonderfully inspiring story of how she healed herself from cancer. As any yoga master will tell you, “ ‘Cancer is just a word that creates fear. Forget about that word, and let’s just focus on balancing your body. All illnesses are just symptoms of imbalance. No illness can remain when your entire system is in balance.’” Moorjani believes that had she known the truth of who she actually was (a divine spirit), she would not have gotten cancer. “My many fears and my great power had manifested as this disease.” She believes that our bodies are only a reflection of our internal state and that if we chose to be aware of the greatness within, our bodies too can heal this rapidly. She has faith that we can rid our bodies (and get rid of cancer) with our minds - by shifting our belief systems to one of joy, love and happiness. This story starts off with Moorjani relating her restrictive cultural awareness and her self-limiting beliefs and ends with a wonderful proclamation for everyone to be rejoiced and celebrated. Moorjani starts healthy, gets cancer, and has a near death experience, then recovers to a new and improved version of herself. This is so refreshing and intriguing. This is an amazing story for all cultures, religions and life styles. Moorjani’s message is for everyone to live life in the moment and let go of worries, fears and things you cannot control. This is a quick story and an inspiring read. -- Tofts Reviews
