I've always enjoyed Michael Connelly's books, and The Last Coyote is one of the best Harry Bosch novels I've read. Connelly continues to develop his Bosch character with each novel, and readers get a glimpse into his [Bosch's] past even more this time around, including his childhood and relationship with his mother ('nuff said). A great story with some unexpected twists as the story reaches its dénouement. If you're looking for a book to complement The Black Echo and The Concrete Blonde, I recommend this one. But don't hesitate to read Connelly's other novels as well.
